Karachi Institute of Ultrasonography (KIOU) established in 2010 and affiliated with Sindh Technical Board of Education (SBTE) is a institute engaged in educational, training, medical services and research in diagnostic ultrasound and color Doppler.

KIOU is managed by the board of Institute of Health Management (IHM) a not for profit organization headed by leading Health  professionals Since its inception KIOU has trained many  sonologist  from  MBBS doctors to science graduates like homeopathic doctors, Pharm. D,  midwives, LHVs B.Sc. Nursing etc.

The KIOU facility is equipped with state of the art training center, multimedia, computers, advance ultrasound machines with printers and color Doppler. The Institute is situated in Block 16 of Gulitan-e-Jauhar at a very accessible location.
